“Help” Services are unhelpful

Whenever I get a bad order or when my rider doesn’t do their job, I always try to seek assistance from the “help” services offered by the app. However, the only actually help you when you send a picture for proof. Otherwise, they just say unnecessary and unhelpful things and stop trying to fix your main issue. When you do send a picture, they try to help you unhelpfully. They don’t give a refund when your order is wrong if you pay through cash on delivery so for me who doesn’t use gcash, there is no point. They will never fix my problem, and their assistance is meaningless. Today, my rider didn’t start going to my house until i messaged him through the app and when he arrived the food was already cold and disgusting so I through it away. I asked the foodpanda help to aid me but when I contacted them and told them about my issue they asked for a picture. When I told them, I already threw it away, they said they couldn’t validate my claim and just asked me about any other problems I had. I’m trying to fix my main issue about my rider not “some other problem” All they did was give me automated responses and avoid the main subject.

Watch out! Total price often dramatically increases from what you are shown in your cart when you go to check out!!! App will spam you notifications multiple times EVERY DAY to get you to join their Pro club. Times shown for delivery often get pushed back 30 minutes after your payment has cleared. Do you like scams? If yes, this is the app for you!

My rider was very disrespectful and said inappropriate words when i asked him ‘kotokhon lagbe’

No accountability

I ordered a treat for myself which is three times more expensive than my usual meal. But the rider delivered it to wrong place that I don’t even know to go collect. When I report this problem, Foodpanda canceled it under “ restaurant took a long time to make the order”. There was no refund but just a small amount of coupon which is very few. I am so disappointed as a customer who has always been used Foodpanda. As a student, this amount of money can go a lot. Foodpanda only responds with we will try to make sure there will be no issues like this. But no accountability for current issue. And mind you this isn’t the first time I experienced this but the first time was not a big order so I let it slide. I am so disappointed that Foodpanda didn’t hold accountable and also blamed the restaurant for the situation.

Price conspiracy

Foodpanda charges higher than usual menu price. Please check with the actual restaurant before your order through this app. Pandamart tries to sell outdated products. If you ever raise any complaint, there will be no one to help you except for some lunatic people on the chat. Poor commitment by the management.

BEWARE!

I had a bad experience with this app where i ordered some groceries and then some of those items were out of stock all of a sudden. Supposedly i was to get a refund for those items immediately I and never was. Upon contacting customer service multiple times they lied to my face and said i was refunded. and I just knew right then and there they were robbing me.

Food not delivered and blame on customer

We ordered a food, and waited for over an hour. this delivery person apparently went to the wrong address, and cancelled the order after they cannot find our address in the wrong building. Contacted customer support and customer supported blamed us stating we provided the wrong address. The same address has been used for at 50 times. Support team do not acknowledge their fault nor willing to reattempt the delivery. Just blame on the false claim about address. Cancelling my subscription and never use it.

No customer service, no refunds on cancellations

I ordered from a restaurant that cancelled the dish I wanted the most. When I cancelled the rest of the order in favor of another restaurant, I was told my order would not be refunded. There is no customer service chat or number to help me resolve my issue. I am now down $25 with no food and no path to recourse.

Poor Processing Time and Unnecessary Stacking Pricing

Foodpanda Myanmar should take the feedback seriously. Although there are huge amounts of bad reviews of poor time management on social media, they still neglected and did not modify their processing time. I have received the order only after more than 2 hours of placing it just because I chose Standard Delivery, although I had paid quite a decent amount for that so-called Standard Rate. It is just around 3 km from the restaurant to my location, yet the rider delivered to the further place before delivering my order. Even if I chose the Priority Rate, it would take around 1 to 1.5 hours even for a 1-2 km distance; hence, it doesn't make sense for customers to pay additional charges. If they want to charge an additional price for the faster service, they should do so. Customers who chose the standard rate are also one of the customers; they shouldn't neglect and deliver after 2-3 hours just because they paid fewer. Also, they should train riders to manage their processing time properly. Riders have poor time management skills and are sometimes greedy (but not all riders). They would take 3-4 orders in one way, and the last order was delivered after 2.5-3.5 hours. Out of my many orders, only a few riders are able to deliver within an hour, and I gave tips to them. My average waiting time for standard delivery is around 3-4 hours.

Typical 3rd World Scammers

Delivery riders steal food. Support does not issue refunds. NEVER pay online and only use COD so the power is in your hands. Payments online will simply be abused and you’ll never get a refund and your food has a 99.9% chance of being stolen and foodpanda will look the other way like the rats they are. Typical 3rd world rats.

Lies with vouchers

Opened app and won 99% voucher to order food from McDonald’s. Okay going to restaurant and wow restaurant is closed (6pm). I change to order with pickup and restaurant magically working and available for order, but voucher disappear. How is it possible that you gave voucher that I can’t use and just cancel the ability to order from user with voucher. I guess they will keep “closed” McDonald’s for orders for me until my voucher will no longer work (3 days) Thanks foodpanda

Worst customer service

Very hit and miss. These guys can be absolutely terrible on a bad day.

They almost overcharge for every item.

The new update is horrendous. The app keeps crashing and is slower than a snail. It takes so longer to do a basic action. It’s so frustrating to use. The devs need to fix the bugs asap!

Behaviors of some drivers are really rude and some restaurants try to scam customers by giving false description and disgusting quality and unsatisfying quantity.They should really keep an eye bout this.

Don’t recommend

Orders take too long, 1 hour for a restaurant that’s 3 minutes away. and the support are not willing to help at all they even use google translate to communicate with you. Stay away.

This app is SCAMMERS. we ordered paid with gcash and the order never arrived and when we talked to customer service they refused to do a refuns. They are thiefs and SCAMMERS. This app needs to be deleted from everyone’s phone and deleted fromm ALL app stores for scamming people. Useless people scammers!!!!!!!!!!

Poor design and service

The UI is poor, there is no customer service centre. No options to contact the rider over phone, on top of that they charge heavily as platform fee which utterly bulls*it!
